About the role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-orientated Full Stack Developer to join our company. We like to make sure that everyone understands our core business, so during your onboarding you will be trained as to understand what we do, and how we do it. This will give you a good understanding of our business and the services we provide and will assist you in fulfilling your role. Once transitioned into this role you will be supported by the AGI Technology team in communicating with stakeholders to provide specifications, programming, and analytics for a variety of projects.

This role will expose you to all aspects of a modern, dynamic and fast growing IT organisation and will provide an excellent opportunity to influence our technology roadmap..

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing, coding, and modifying applications (both client and server side).
  • Creating front end web applications
  • Creating timeframes and work schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and teams.
  • Debugging code and ensuring software documentation is updated.
  • Conducting research and keeping abreast of market trends.
  • Assisting colleagues with programming tasks as required.
  • Assisting to modernise legacy technology where required

To succeed in this role, you are:

  • Innovative and demonstrate a passion for technology
  • Collaborative but can also work independently
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Have a design thinking attitude

Additionally, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science, information technology or related area.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in CI/CD (DevOps, Git, Jenkins etc) and REACT Framework
  • The ability to move between all areas of full stack development with ease.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status.

Desirable:

  • Microsoft suite of development tools and frameworks (C#, VB, SQL etc)
  • Modern coding frameworks (JSON, node.js, Python, Ruby etc)

Salary: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
